Personal Philosophy
I strongly believe that children are our most precious gifts; as such,
they must be provided unconditional love and nurturing. The children I
have had in my care come as close to being my own children. I enjoy
sharing in the growth and development of children; and celebrating
each milestone as a great accomplishment.
Caring for a child entails more than providing basic necessities such
as changing diapers, giving a bottle or meals, laying a baby or child
down to sleep. Anyone can do that. When I look into a child's eyes,
I see their soul, and when you hold them close to your heart, you feel
the connection in a profound way. Providing a fun, safe and nurturing
environment for each child to love, explore, play and learn while
encouraging social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth lays
foundations to enable each child to achieve their optimal potential.
At Summer Sweet Kids, your child will receive quality personal care
in a safe, warm and loving home.
I strive to strengthen collaboration and cooperation me and my
parents/guardians; and make every day a happy experience for the children
under my care. Above all, I provide love, respect, a safe environment and FUN!
Provider's Background Information
I am married with three daughters in High school and Middle school. My love for
children was ignited over 32 years ago when I was a young adult and became the primary
care giver to my niece. Since then, I had several opportunities taking care of nieces,
nephews, friend's and neighbor's children whenever the need arises.
My educational background includes studies in Early Childhood Development,
Human Growth and Development, and a Business Science Business Management
degree. Prior to becoming a licensed day care provider, I worked for 14 years
in the financial sector and eight years with a charitable organization.
